One of my favorite moments from the show as a kid was Pegasus playing the Toon World card for the first time and seeing the characters transformed into the chibli style art. That really inspired the direction for the carved boards for this series. I thought the Toons would translate really well to my carvings and Toon Dark Magician and Toon Dark Magician Girl were the perfect characters for it.
