BEHIND THE COLLECTION

South Park was a huge part of growing up for me, so having the opportunity to work with South Park and build my own collection has been a dream. It was hard to pick a direction with how many iconic episodes and ideas there are with the show, but I wanted it to be interactive and elevated, so I thought Kenny’s death and the choice of where he goes would be a cool way to accomplish that.

I also added some cool subtle elements, like Kenny’s holographic/pearlescent soul as he goes to Heaven or Hell. A lot of work went into these, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them. Artwork in collaboration with Rupert Gruber.

"For the higher-end piece in this collection, I wanted it to be clean but also embody the meaning behind the collection as a whole without taking away from the other boards. Everyone thinks South Park is about crude jokes and immature humor, but each episode has so much depth and thought put behind it. I wanted it to be the same for this board. The board has so much time and craftsmanship put into every step of the process, from the details in the art and the carving, the tedious filing of the edges to make it smooth, the airbrushed paint job, to the hand painted surface that give Death and Kenny their color. All of this work and elevation for a portrait of a raunchy cartoon character, that hopefully someone will cherish.

The board will come with custom wheels, a numbered Certificate of Authenticity, and will be limited to 200 pieces."

GET DOWN TO DETAILS.

We custom design all of our boards in house. Whether it's a limited edition, stock or custom, we designed it.

BRING IN THE ROBOTS.

We use a three-axis CNC machine to cut your board precisely how it was designed, including our patented carved out grip.

FINESSING THE DETAILS.

The deck is hand sanded, filed, and sent through a series of quality control inspections. Every surface needs to be cleaned and refined to create the final look we’re going for. From here it goes on to be painted or printed depending on the design.

A STROKE OF GENIUS

Each board is airbrushed and hung to dry in our paint booth. Once dry, we sand the surface back down to woodtone to show off the painted carvings.

ALL ABOUT THE DETAILS

For designs with extra details, we individually print each board using our industrial printer. Our UV ink also adds an extra layer of protection to the design.

PROTECT AND PRESERVE

Several layers of clear coat are applied to protect your board and the design. The board is then buffed with 1000 grit sandpaper and hit with a final coat to make a perfect finish.

This is where we do our final quality inspection and get your board ready to go to its new home. Whether you're purchasing a deck or a complete board, we ensure that all our products are carefully packaged for safe delivery. For limited/collectors editions cruisers, we add the custom wheels, numbered certificate of authenticity, and the custom collectors box.

Death Takes Kenny Carved Deck is limited to an edition of 200. The Street Decks in this collection include Dead Kenny, Kenny Goes to Heaven, and Kenny Goes to Hell. Each Street Deck is limited to an edition size of 1,000 pieces.

QUESTIONS?

Does the board have grip tape?
No. We custom mill the grip pattern into the board design. This makes the grip of your board more durable and stronger than traditional grip tape.
Are your boards rideable?
Definitely. They're pretty, but they're also some of the smoothest cruisers on the market.
Do you ship to my country?
We ship worldwide! Just keep in mind, some countries charge taxes on imported goods. Certain collaborations may not be eligible for worldwide shipping.
How do I maintain my board?
I recommend scrubbing and dirt out of the grip with a kitchen brush. I'll put up a video of how to maintain your board soon.

Love the Yu-Gioh boards! Wish there were more iconic special rares like Dark Magician, Dark Magician Girl and Red Eyes Black Dragon instead of the blue prints, but still very cool.
