HOW WE BUILD IT

The Appa Collectors Edition Complete includes our numbered certificate of authenticity, custom packaging, and custom accessories tailored to the board. Edition size of 100.

The Open Edition Appa is perfect for those who want the cruiser deck without all the fluff.

Each Blind Box contains one of eleven exclusive street deck designs. All four nations are represented with edition sizes of 1250 per design. The Water Tribe and Fire Nation have holographic variants that are an edition of 500 per design. Aang has an edition size of 750 with 250 holographic variants. The holographic KoiZilla is an edition size of 100, and finally, two lucky fans will pull the coveted one-of-one Moon Spirit and Ocean Spirit Decks. Every deck comes with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

STEP 1: DESIGN

GETTING DOWN TO DETAILS

Every board is made with premium materials and components for a smooth ride… but most people hang them on the wall. Either way, these decks deliver as both collectible pieces and trusty skate companions.

STEP 2: CUTOUT

BRING IN THE ROBOTS

We use a three-axis CNC machine to cut your board precisely how it was designed, incorporating my patented 'Underbite' grip into the design.

STEP 3: SANDING & SMOOTHING

FINESSING THE DETAILS

The deck is hand sanded, filed, and sent through a series of quality control inspections. Every surface needs to be cleaned and refined to create the final look we’re going for. From here it goes on to be painted or printed depending on the design.

STEP 4: PAINTING & SANDING

A STROKE OF GENIUS

Each board is airbrushed and hung to dry in our paint booth. Once dry, we sand the surface back down to woodtone to show off the painted carvings.

STEP 5: PRINT

ALL ABOUT THE DETAILS

For designs with extra details, we individually print each board using our industrial printer. Our UV ink also adds an extra layer of protection to the design.

STEP 6: CLEAR COAT

PROTECT AND PRESERVE

Several layers of clear coat are applied to protect your board and the design. The board is then buffed with 1000 grit sandpaper and hit with a final coat to make a perfect finish.

STEP 7: PACKOUT

READY TO ROLL

This is where my team does their final quality inspection and gets your board ready to go to its new home. Whether you're purchasing a deck or a complete board, we ensure that all our products are carefully packaged for safe delivery. For limited/collectors editions cruisers, we add the custom wheels, numbered certificate of authenticity, and the custom collectors box.

  • We custom-mill the grip pattern into our signature carved and complete cruiser decks. This makes the grip of your board more durable and stronger than traditional grip tape. For our street decks we have Jessup grip tape with multiple designs to choose from.

  • Definitely. They're pretty, but they're also some of the smoothest cruisers on the market.

  • We ship worldwide! Just keep in mind, some countries charge taxes on imported goods. Certain collaborations may not be eligible for worldwide shipping.

  • I recommend scrubbing and dirt out of the grip with a kitchen brush. I'll put up a video of how to maintain your board soon.
